Creating an AAM booth identity that’s creative, attention grabbing, and within budget is always a challenge. In addition to networking and dispensing information, we also strive to give attendees a memorable "take away."
For ideas on both, we turned to copywriters at Garfinkel + Associates, who came up with a clever matchmaking concept appropriate for the City of Brotherly Love. Studio A then created an entire graphic environment around the theme “Make a date with SITES."
"The message is repeated multiple times, on surfaces ranging in scale from the 10’-diameter circular banner suspended over the booth to the photo booth, postcards, and bookmarks," notes Studio A principal Antonio Alcalá. "The impact comes from the cumulative effect, not the singular object.”
More than 20 images illustrate key SITES exhibitions. Nearly all are associated with a specific month, day, and year (the “date”)—either the significance of the photo itself (explained on the back of the postcard) or the show's first available booking slot.
The postcards will be distributed at the booth and mailed in two sets after AAM to reinforce our message and “touch” our exhibitors more than once a year. Attendees can also pick up bookmarks and pose in the photo booth for a souvenir of their date with SITES.
My Exhibitor and Scheduling Relations colleagues are busily setting up for the opening of the exhibit hall. We'll have actual pictures soon, but enjoy these in the meantime. And if you're at AAM, visit us in Booth 1701!
