We were elated to receive this alliterative comment yesterday from a volunteer at the Mississippi Museum of Art in Jackson.
"We counted 529 visitors yesterday. We got stately grandparents, savvy suburbanites, indie inner-city dwellers, purple Punk rockers and Goths, sunny school kids, cute college students, a curmudgeon college professor, a few bemused drop-ins looking for something else, and some folks that didn't fit into any category. They were grinning expectedly when they came in. They were laughing and skipping when they left; If our museum is 'for the people,' this was the people's exhibit."
There's still time to SEE Jim Henson's Fantastic World.
